You both did a great job, finding, landing and figureing out what it took. You have the understanding of what it takes. Glad we got to trade some tips.

Fished the KY side of Dale on Saturday with slower results...We fished with livebait and only wound up with 13 smallmouth, and 11 of those were caught before lunch...Overall size wasn't bad, but the number of bites was down even though the water is still 46-47...We had one that was between 20 1/2" and 21" and really healthy and had another over 20"....Overall we had 6 over 18" and 4 more over 15"...Talked to several guys at the ramp that had really bad results...Lots of em talked about catching between 1 and 3 fish...It was good talkin to Rick Hise again and getting to see some of the differences in the way he fishes live bait and the way we do....Again I'd like to say thanks to Rick

Sounds like a pretty good day to me. Any pics?
My friend took a picture of the two biggest on his phone...ill see if i can get him to put em on here
Steven, Brad went down Sunday and caught about 15. Nothing big at all. They only caught 3 on live bait. The rest they caught on finesse worms. Like I said nothing over 17 inches. they were up in Wolf river somewhere.
Sounds like a great day to me,but I'm an artificial kinda guy. Have thought about going down and dragging some minners around but wouldn't really know were or how to start.
excuse me stealling your post, caught 6 before noon nothing big, too much wind for me set up on my first choice, these came out grass near the channel ....live-bait

Nice pics! Pretty sure those banks look pretty familiar! HAHA! Good to see the fish are still holding in the area. Will be down with dad in March, will have to hook up on the water and meet.
Good Luck!
