Barren River Lake Fish Attractor Question

Anybody know if the Corp or Fish and Wildlife still have a day to add fish attractors on Barren? If so, what day is it (or was it)? I did this several years ago and would like to do it again.

Re: Barren River Lake Fish Attractor Question

The Corps and KFDWR still continues to add fish attractors to the lake every year, they just haven't done a program with the public in several years at Barren. Both organizations have programs that accept donated Christmas trees and cut cedar trees every year in January, and they'll add them to the lake in late January/ early February if the lake conditions are right. If you want to volunteer with either organization, I know both groups will be glad to accept help. If you want to add your own attractor to the lake then call the fisheries office in Bowling Green for a permit.
