Didn't we just have a thread that discussed politics and sports? Well the annointed one did it again. He never misses an opportunity to lie to the country because after all if he says it over and over it must be true....right? He didn't just talk sports he talked of why he should be re-elected.....I guess it's good to be the Dictator...err uh King?? Potus?? What ever he calls himself.

Really didn't miss much unless you like hearing election talk right before the Super Bowl. I said it before this man and his minions are the best at grabbing an opportunity. Here your tuned in to watch the Super Bowl and Matt Lauer has this interview with potus. Potus is talking about how he should be reelected because things are looking up. He did what every politician does....tells the side of the truth that isn't quite true.Originally Posted by Tim_T

I didn't watch any pre-game stuff at all this year, so I didn't see it. As for the White House trip, this is a tradition that has been going on since at least Reagan was in the White House and possibly longer. World Series champsn, Super Bowl, National champs in college football and basketball. You can bet that the Giants will be visiting the White House and they would regardless of who was president.
- Both take balls to play. How do you kick a field goal with less?
- One requires performance, the other requires the image there of.
- Both can have a contracted period of up to 4 years, Clinton and Michael Vick excluded.
- In both, as a "player" just because you got the chance to play last time, doen't mean people want to have to pay for you to play next time.
Big diffference, you can get a new sports champion each year, it's all based on what they prove they can do and demonstrate it. In politics, you only have to try hard once every 4 years, and then you just have to sound like you did a good job.

The dictator/ruler/king/wanna-be-RE-elected Potus took Chryslers commercial with Clint Eastwood and sort of claimed it...didn't he?

Where did you see that? I have seen where Carl Rove claimed something along those lines, and Eastwood said that was not the case, but nothing on Obama claiming it.

ABC News Monday evening...not 100% sure Nobama claimed it...but Eastwood made it clear in no uncertain terms that he is not politically affiliated with "Mr.Obama". Some video clips of Nobama was being shown during this segment too, further leading me to believe that Nobama would like to jump on the "second half" phrase. What do you think about Romney Andrew??

Really do not have much of an opinion on him yet. If he gets the nomination I'll take a closer look. Same for the rest of the candidates.

Just a suggestion but you might want to lighten up on the political stuff a little bit, especially the Obama hate stuff. Your starting to sound more and more bitter every day and we want the fun good ol DJD back.
I only saw a clip of what he said so I don't know the whole story but was he asked a question about being re-elected or anything else political?

Yeah, I know the potus has the champions at the whitehouse. I guess I didn't type that properly when posting that earlier.
Yep they did talk about politics and it made me lose my hunger for junk food! Did I mention obamy is the anti-christ, a muslim and not born in america??
PT....I can't stop the hate fest for this guy because of all the reasons I have and will state on here. Regardless of what I post on here it doesn't rule my world, it really doesn't. I hardly even watch the news anymore because it's all the same gloom and doom.....BTW, I still have alot of fun and even been known to fish with Liberals!
I guess it all comes down to this...when Bush was potus all we heard was he did this wrong, he did that wrong, gas prices are high because of him, the economy is ruined because of him, Bush tax cuts are wrong and on and on. It's just Obamy's turn.

Guess I didn't word the "fun" thing quite right either as I'm sure you do still have lots of fun and just use this place to vent some of your frustrations.
