    Kentucky throttles Florida

Kentucky beat Florida by 20 and it wasn't that close. MKG and Teague both with Double Double's, Davis the Dunking Defensiveman and Lamb / Miller shooting lights out and leading the team. Scary situation if you get put in the same bracket as the Cats. I think Syracuse and Carolina are the only teams in America that can play with UK on a neutral sight. But I will take the Cats and take my chances this year.

Gotta agree with you bro. The overall team cohesiveness is really something, but I gotta say AD is the best I've seen come along in a long time. MKG isn't far behind.

AD is the Best Defensive Player that has ever played at Kentucky and MKG is one of the Best All Around Freshman to ever lace them up for the Big Blue. AD's presence alters or stops shot attempts just as many as his blocks. MKG reminds me of Scottie Pippen talent in Chuck Hayes body and effort. Teague became a solid point guard when he was benched to open the 2 nd half against Indiana. I would love to see his numbers up thru the first half of IU and the second half to date. They would be night and day apart. Lamb is making everything, Miller is as consistent as the day is long and Wiltjer gives us just enough off the bench. That only leaves Jones, the enigma. If Jones shows up with 15-8 and 3 blocks then UK is unbeatable if the rest play their game. But when he no shows, it makes it a bit more interesting. I still like our chances

I must admitt that up until the last three games I thought that the BIG ORANGE were the best team in the nation and that UK was a little over ranked. I stand corrected!! If UK plays the way they have been then nobody can play them close and I mean nobody. How many teams in the nation have 6 players that can give you 20 points a game on any given night. There is 1 thing that will cost UK come tourney time. If Davis gets in foul trouble and Jones is a no show in the same game. Big Blue can handle one or the other but not both. I still think it will be good for them to loose a game or two before the SEC tourney so there not to confident. I'm like Woody and I am now a believer that this might be the best team coach has ever put together. I would really like to see him get his first National Championship.

I'm a U of L fan at heart....if U of L can't do it then I hope Kentucky does. I don't watch much basketball, but judging from the high lights I saw on the news about the game, Kentucky is playing more on a pro level it looks like.

Theyh seem to be firing on all cylinders and when that happens with a team with that much talent it could get ugly for everyone else. Davis is the man and the best player in the country, but imo Gilchrist is the most important player on that team. He does whatever needs to be done, whether it is scoring important baskets, grabbing a needed rebound, taking a charge at an important moment in the game. Davis is the best player in college hoops, but Gilchrist is the MVP.

Gilchrist reminds of how Jordan played and Kobe does now....im not saying he is the next coming or anything like that but his size, game and abilities are the makings of someone who can run the floor or post up alot of players. The kid has tons of potential and the fire to move forward and get even better as he matures.

I'd take Jones over any player off of the UofL team...in a New York second. I hope he returns for another year...from what is being said..he is wanting to complete school with a degree! If he does this...you just might see his named jersey hang from the banners in Rupp, especially is when we win the National championship! He is coming on strong with his inside play; ...Coach Cal is in his face all the time. Jones said; "that means that he likes me a lot"...great attitude.

Are you talking about Terrance Jones? Or is there some other Jones that plays for UK? Terrance Jones has million dollar talent and a ten cent brain. I would rather keep Elisha Justice over T. Jones. Heck, I would rather have Isiah Canaan of Murray or the kid from Bellarmine that lights it up all the time over Jones. If UK doesn't win it all this season, it will be because Terrance Jones is a liablity. I would say there is as good a chance of my name hanging from the rafters in Rupp as there is Terrance Jones.

Here is what Cal thinks of Terrance Jones and for once, I agree with him:
