    Best bait caster

So im ready for a new bait caster. I figure in spending a $100 or so. So what is the best reel I can get for that price? I have a couple Pro Qualifer reels and love them, but I would like to get the most bang for my buck. Any thoughts are welcome.

For $100 stick with the Pro Qualifier. Good reel for the price.

The Revo SX and/or STX are awesome reels both under $200.

I bought a pro qualifier cranking reel and hated it. No matter what I did it would barely cast. Took it back and got a refund... For the 100 range I think its hard to beat a curado. I have bought a couple of used ones off bass boat central for that range and you can get a new one in the 150 range.

I have a pro qualifier and absolutely love it. I can darn near throw about 50 yards with a skitter walk or red eye shad

I have 3 Pro Qualifier reels, one of them is about 3 years old, and I love them. I also have a RCX high speed and it is nice too. Never had an issue with any of them. They are usually around the $79 range.

Citica or Curado...anything goes wrong the customer service can't be beat and the quality for a reel in the $100ish range is excellent.

I have all Johnny Morris reels...........the upgrade to the qualifier. They are 99 bucks or 119 most of the time.

    GREAT reels.

    Later,

Every review I have read about the pro qualifers are great. A buddy of mine didn't like his, but I was very disapointed. Guy at Bass Pro treated my like a kid, asking if I knew how to use a baitcaster. Maybe I just got a lemon... or what Geo said - that makes sense, never thought about it though.

Was it that younger tall guy? He did the same thing to me two years ago. It pissed me off pretty good.

No, it wasn't him. It was a new guy I had never seen. The older guy with the gray beard who does the demos and fish feeding is about the only one I like to deal with
