Agree with splitshot. Also have to consider that the Arab league tried to do something, but were pretty much useless and had to leave. If Syria's neighbors cannot help get things straightened out, what makes people think the US can? Another point to consider is that Syria and Iran are big allies. We go in, and things will spread and get bigger real quick. Best plan is to keep an eye on things, but keep a good distance.

Also agree with Geo, if you can afford stuff like X-box, you should not be on food stamps. Priorities have to be in order.

I am not saying we need to be the world police however Obama said we had to go into Libya because innocent people were being killed then he let innocent people be killed in Syria and Egypt. Do we like Libya innocent people better? He need to explain our policy better if we have a policy.

Unfortunately, it is ALL about OIL.......hate to say it.

Syria has no oil....Libya had quite a bit of oil that went to EU countries. AND BTW the EU ran that show.........

Syria produces 400,000 barrels a day
Libya produces 1,790,000 barrels a day......

BIG difference.

In a civilized world, this is unacceptable. Especially in a powder keg region like the middle east.
