That's my thinking as well. Legalize it, tax it, regulate it like alcohol. That would also make it less of a "gateway" drug, because you wouldn't have some dope dealer saying, "Hey, you think weed gets you high? Here, try some coke."
I just had to mess with Geo on that, that's all. I also agree that once you've served in our military, especially if you've faced combat action, like this guy did, you should automatically be eligible for naturalization, and that citizenship should be irrevocable, except in cases of treason. If you commit crimes once you're out, the punishment should be the same as for any other citizen.

That deserves automatic fast track citizenship. Now, if he screws that opportunity up by committing a crime. Selling DOPE is still a crime, then that goes away.
And for the record........Sell an ounce of pot, crack, heroin, meth, whatever. ROAST THEIR BUTT. But that argument is for another thread.
