Not national titles, because I have been following college basketball so long that I see how much luck you have to have to win one. The best team imo in the history of Louisville basketball didn't get one (1975) and that happens in a lose and your out deal.
The only two things that bothered me when he first got here was his recruiting philosophy that he brought back didn't work, and I didn't expect to get the second NIT appearance. All I ask is to be consistently in the top 20 each season and be poised to make a run at a title every few years. I think for the most part, he has lived up to it.
Everyone talks about Vandy having their overrated big guy out against Louisville, but nobody wants to mention that Louisville had four players out for that game due to injury. Vandy gets a pass, but not Louisville? Sorry, Vandy is not better than Louisville.
Florida may be the most overrated team in the country. They have home losses to Tennessee and Rutgers....yes Rutgers, one of the dregs of the Big East. You cannot lose to Rutgers and Tennessee at home and be that good.
That is why on this board in December I said UK would go undefeated in the SEC. They are head and shoulders better than anybody in that league.
