    I don't think people in Alabama care to much about basketball, they have their eyes on the the pigskin, but since you are a UK hoops fan... How bout them HOOSIERS!

    I have heard of this happening down there, but not for those reasons. I heard there were some areas down there that you just flat out need to avoid. I would imagine the State park areas down there have some sort of authority presence that deters this kind of activity. There are people anywhere you go that will damage your property just to spite you because the stuff they have isn't as nice as yours. I believe that would be called envy.

    I'm heading down soon, you don't know where this stuff is happining do you? Any place in particular to stay away from.

    The state park is good. Marine police headquarters are located there. Avoid roadside ramps, they are everywhere. People stealing trailers has also been a problem.

    there are a few bad apples in every crowd
    some of the nicest people ive met on any fishing trip was at guntersvillr
    and have been back every tear for about 10 years
    even here on my home lake barren river ive had stuff stolen from my boat
    at walnut creek while attending a pre tournament meeting
    and wouldnt park my truck at green river ramp 2 all night on a bet
    dont bait the thirvrs keep stuff put up out of sight lock your doors,park under lightts or high traffic aeras an hope for the best
    they are everywhere not just guntersville
    homie
