Prolly the best ski slope we did was the Zugspitze In Germany. That was beautiful!!!
Gotta ask.....do you mean actually eating Beaver Tails?? Or catching some Beaver?? Lol

Oh no we would never catch real beavers. We love the beavers. They are right up there with the moose and bears. No its a desert that they serve on the Rideau Canal for the skaters to warm them up. They are in the shape of the tail of the beaver. Very good and lots of cafe's serve them downtown during the cold weather. I think the only people that would actually eat beaver tails for real would be hillbillies. hahaha So we are fortunate that no hillbillies from the southern states ever venture up here. We would have to shoot the hillbillies if they tried to hurt our beavers.

I noticed that too, Geo. For a while we had a guy on here named "Parker." I thought this was a picture of his wife or girlfriend.... or something had happened to his hormones and he started growing chest bumps. I see 4 already.

Gills and I need all the girls this board can handle, so welcome Parker. I hope you enjoy yourself.

    "growing chest bumps"

Is that like an allergic reaction to bleach?

Risky and fun sports. You seem to enjoy that!!
Now wait a minute, Gills! I don't have balls. lol

I do enjoy the snow and winter sports. I moved to Alabama a year ago and we get about 3 inches of snow every 5 years or so, I'm going to miss it. My husband has just signed an extended contract and he went north a week ago. He said the rain is supposed to turn to snow tonight and everyone is looking forward to it. I may have to escape and go visit him soon.

Do Canadians add rum to the Beavertails or just cook them like regular donuts? Yum! I get hungry just thinking about them.

Hey Bugsy you and I have balls but they are invisible lol No rum is added to the ones we have up here as children will be eating them on the canal. But if it is in a private cafe they might make them with rum but mostly cook like a donut. They are so big and are made up here about the same size as a real beaver tail. Good for the skaters as they need the energy. They are like a meal. Yes you should head up north and see your hubby and make a snowman or woman together. Have fun!

Lol no worries there!! I looked the BeaverTail up and those look good! My exwife made a meal called fried dough and all we would do is add pizza sauce and cheese and whatever to make it taste good. These look like a pastry twist to that. Man some of those are huge!

Now that you have confirmed that I have invisible balls, I understand why my husband told me before he left that I am the toughest woman he has EVER known. lol. It's too late for me to head north now; they had a whiteout blizzard Saturday night and yesterday morning. It's beginning to melt into slush. He said he cooked, read, watched tv, and snoozed during the storm. I'm not sure it was exactly in that order.

As a side note, he will be away for an extended period of time and I am home alone. He took care of things he knew that I would NEED---My car was serviced, tires balanced and rotated, and it was detailed. The tires were replaced and properly inflated, the oil, filters, and gas were change, and the belts were checked---------on all 4 lawn mowers. He also serviced the boat and put new lines on all the fishing poles. That last one still puzzles me. lol

Lots of talk on this thread about balls and beavers. What kind of site is this anyway? Is this going to cost me $3.99 a minute?
