    Snow Storm

Looking like Lexington could get some but man watching this latest forecast it seems like 1-4 inches in Lexington with a storm passing to the south means maybe 1" of snow. I'm hoping for 4" so I can ride the streets with the ATV!

it don't seam right, getting a snow after all this nice spring weather we've had. my mother is 78 and she told me she remembered a snow when she was a small girl, that fell on her daddy's garden. she said he had corn up about knee high on her dad and the snow almost hid the corn. and that snow fell in late spring. I don't care for snow myself, but it is one of natures most beautiful things to see. in the early morning hours hanging to the tree limbs and covering the big pines. the snow makes everything looks so nice and clean.

I heard that Kroger had 100,000 loaves of stale bread. They, the NWS and Obama saw this as an opportunity to move this stale bread out. Seems to have worked based on the crowd at Kroger yesterday.

hey Don nice to see you looking forward to some snow. Its so great to play in. You would love to come north and experience a week or two of a Canadian winter some year. I think you are the only one with the balls on this board to actually handle a little cold. hahaha Actually Bugsy could handle it.We are tough up here and you would have a blast on a ski-doo, downhill skiing, snowboarding, skating the world largest skating rink which is the Rideau Canel and trying our maple syrup and beaver tails. Risky and fun sports. You seem to enjoy that!!

Oh no we would never catch real beavers. We love the beavers. They are right up there with the moose and bears. No its a desert that they serve on the Rideau Canal for the skaters to warm them up. They are in the shape of the tail of the beaver. Very good and lots of cafe's serve them downtown during the cold weather. I think the only people that would actually eat beaver tails for real would be hillbillies. hahaha So we are fortunate that no hillbillies from the southern states ever venture up here. We would have to shoot the hillbillies if they tried to hurt our beavers.

Lol no worries there!! I looked the BeaverTail up and those look good! My exwife made a meal called fried dough and all we would do is add pizza sauce and cheese and whatever to make it taste good. These look like a pastry twist to that. Man some of those are huge!

Now wait a minute, Gills! I don't have balls. lol

I do enjoy the snow and winter sports. I moved to Alabama a year ago and we get about 3 inches of snow every 5 years or so, I'm going to miss it. My husband has just signed an extended contract and he went north a week ago. He said the rain is supposed to turn to snow tonight and everyone is looking forward to it. I may have to escape and go visit him soon.

Do Canadians add rum to the Beavertails or just cook them like regular donuts? Yum! I get hungry just thinking about them.
