I'm only 24 and i have come to the conclusion along time ago that things have been going down hill and they have for a long time- with many things being the culprit- i will agree with you about the social programs i think many of them need to be cut with out a doubt. But at the same time this country needs to pull its head out of its ass and wake up and people need to realize that they keep voting in LIFETIME politicians that are only doing what is benefiting them selves and no one else.

As for not being able to do anything, no your not going to do anything about simply because the way you go about things- yes many people have your view (which most i agree with) but at the same time your upfront force it down peoples throat is where the problem is.

The teaparty is just what it is- another party that is going to get people in they are going to be changed by the politics and will be reformed by the people that already run this country and will continue to vote where ever the money shows or what ever will get them re-elected. And as far as that goes the teaparty and the occupy movement are basically the same people if you look- just two different generations on how they go about dealing with things. yes i am aware that many are extreme but you have that with anyone with a belief and that my friend is where you start having issues, for example people you cited in the occupy movement. then you move to the other spectrum of crazies with the westboro protests its the same thing. look to the more moderate people for the real views of the party.
