I was wondering how long it would take for this to come up.

Burring the Koran is not part of official US policy.

To appologize for a mistake is not wrong.

We are in their country not ours, we have soldiers at risk.

They feel about their book about as strongly as we feel about our flag.

If they had mistakenly burned hundreds of our flags in Washington we would expect an appology.

I think he did the right thing.

Bibles and the koran can be burned. Its supposed to done with dignity, as with the flag. Both these and the talmud are best disposed of by proper burial.So the best solution to our problem is simple. When the crowds of islamic radicals gather together em mass. maybe 4 fighter bombers, and 8 canisters of napalm, should be proper burning and burial.

I guess for me....if I made a mistake and threw something away that I shouldn't have or burned something I shouldn't have by "accident", then I would apologize.

In the case of these middle eastern idiots I don't see anything wrong with an apology if in fact it was a mistake...but I wouldn't go over board with apologizing...it be more like: "Hey...we made a mistake..sorry about that. A mistake is a mistake...it won't happen again so don't make a big deal out of it...if you DO make a big deal out of it we can play that B.S. game too, the choice is your's rag head."

don't think apologizing makes you weak, it takes a good man to say I'm sorry. President Obama will make the call if he needs to. there's been lots of men in the past that mistakenly took kindness for weakness and had to pay the price.

Agree, they don't apologize when they burn our flag. Some people just like to find ways to be insulted. Normally the folks that are getting their butts wiped the worst, are the one's with the most complaints.

I hope they get crazy enough to burn a bible publically as retaliation. That would take us off the hook, and save us money while other religions and nations commence busting their butts while we relax a bit.
