You are so silly Bob I think he is the only black player in the NHL. There was a really great goalie that played for the Edmonton Oilers that I really like and he black but he was from the islands like Bahamas or Trinadad. Just cant remember his name. Obama wouldnt get much support from the hockey community.

There haven't been many, but there are more and more as time goes by. I know of 2 other black players active currently, P.K. Subban of the Canadiens, and Wayne Simmonds of the Flyers, but there may be others. Both of them are very good players, btw, as was Mike Grier, who just retired last year from the Sabres. Donald Brashear (nephew of Carl Brashear, the subject of the movie "Men of Honor") played for the Flyers, then the Canadiens. There was also a goalie, Kevin Weekes, who is a broadcaster now.
