There haven't been many, but there are more and more as time goes by. I know of 2 other black players active currently, P.K. Subban of the Canadiens, and Wayne Simmonds of the Flyers, but there may be others. Both of them are very good players, btw, as was Mike Grier, who just retired last year from the Sabres. Donald Brashear (nephew of Carl Brashear, the subject of the movie "Men of Honor") played for the Flyers, then the Canadiens. There was also a goalie, Kevin Weekes, who is a broadcaster now.
