Yes there are plenty of Largemouth in Rough River Lake. Not sure who you were talking to but they don't know what they're talking about.

I love the Bass fishing there alway manage at least 2 or so 19 inchers or better, and the crappie bite is great along with the Hybrids Overall great lake

The fishing is horrible there. Make sure you stay out of my spots.. That's where the fishin' is the worst..
