I have a stratos 201 pro xl and i recently bought a humminbird 898si,could anybody help me with pictures on where to put my transducer.Im running the stock 6 inch jackplate.I would appreciate any help.Thanks.

I mounted mine in the center on the transom under my plate.

I mounted mine in the same place and have had no issues at all so far.

Make a holeshot plate & place it across the bottom of your jackplate & mount it in the center of it. You can't get 2D readings from the SI mounted like this. but it's the way to go. Not much danger in loosing a transducer when it's mounted like this. www.transducersheildandsaver.com has the bracket you need if you don't want to mount it like this.
