Sorry I have been lazy getting you some of the info that might help but I have had 3 good days this week with good numbers no big fish, we still have temps very fishable 47, as of 2-24, some stain around state park minimal,
Guys 2 days the week b4 I zeroed one day not a bite, all my fish are on Live-bait shad.
I live on the lake so IM always in some contact with what is going on.

Thursday, heavy fog, gps only way to travel. Once set up had a good bite instantly fished deeper throwing in 40/anchored in 25...zero wind like glass, boated one 0/20 the rest small. by 930AM was done moved a couple time fished similar set ups zero. Around 10:50 the winds white caps an hard gust started. I made a timely move and it paid off in a good way. While anchored, water coming over the back of the boat at times that's how hard we had it,the fish turned on. I was out off an island with deep water handy and a red clay bank turning over. It must have triggered the bite big time as one fish after another, just couldn't get the quality ones in. Once in a while a plan works, this one did. (Live Bait shad)...(if the fellow in the Phoenix reads this about 15 minutes after You left it started)
