You may know something about dirt track racing, but you don't seem to know numbers very well.........
Did you even READ what I typed, "Bristol TN 1/2 mile concrete surface track record is 128 MPH in qualifying. A Late Model top speeds are 125 MPH, that is pretty close to me." I was comparing the speeds of Nascar on a 1/2 mile track to the speeds of a Late Model on 1/2 mile Dirt tracks. I was not comparing the Late Model speed on a 1/2 mile Dirt track to Nascar on a 2 1/2 mile track. As far as my knowledge of numbers goes, I must be pretty stupid to take Calculus I, II and III, Physics I and II and Laplase Transforms in College and Aced them all except Laplase where I got a B. Guarantee my knowledge of numbers is better than your READING ability.

You are correct in here we go again. You love to "question" someone's ability to know numbers but hate it when you get "questioned" on your reading ability. You continue to love to dish it out but can't take it.

Re-read the entire post. Better yet have someone read it to you. Not only do you dig your grave, you lie down in it, swallow the Cyanide tablet, put the gun to your head, pull the trigger and have arranged for someone to shovel dirt on top of you after they hear the shot.

You know, the title of the thread is NASCAR at Daytona.....not NASCAR at Bristol....if you want to talk about dirt cars and compare their speed to cup cars at Bristol, then start a new thread about it.

There goes Art starting something then WAVING THE WHITE FLAG!! That is the smartest thing you have done yet. I started the post with " I am not a NASCAR fan but....." then you accuse me of not being a race fan at all. So I proved you wrong again and you wave the white flag. Dirt Track is RACING, Drag Strip is RACING. I will bet everything I own that I have been to the racetrack more days than you. Before you lose everything you own, consider that I went to Mountain Parkway Dragstrip EVERY Saturday from before I can remember to 16 yes old watching my Dad run his 57 Chevy Bel Air Two Door Hardtop between 10.3 and 10.7 consistently. Add in all the trips to the Dirt Tracks and I guarantee you have not been to the race track as much ad me. Slow down and attempt to Comprehend what is written before you start arguments that YOU LOSE.
