    First hog leg of the year Feb 27th

    A little over 23 inches and weighed 7 1/2 lbs.

    Thanks stripernut, that is my new personal best. Most people I know wouldn't even think about throwing a spinnerbait in 43 degree water, this is why I do. You don't get many bites but when you do lookout!

    First tourney i ever fished was in march after a cold winter at rough river and there was a 7 1/2 lb. Caught on a spinner bait that held up to be big fish of the year ! He said he had only been fishing 15 minutes that morning when it bit.
