I fished with Randal Gibson of Trophy Hunter's guide service for a couple hours this morning. We started after 7. Randy has been away all month working the sport an boat shows. I think he just needed a little water time.
In less than 2 hours, we had a live-bait bite going instantly, put a nice mess of fish in the boat. sitting a couple hundred yards off a hump, with the boat in 20ft. or so. Letting the bait settle anywhere from 12-30 ft range. Biggest was over 4.

All the fish had good color, also i saw overall a better quality fish this trip. I brought Randy back, by 9 or so, I just couldn't stand it went back an still had a decent bite going.

Fished the main river of the Obey. Our water temp started at 49 early. It was 53 up shallow just b4 i quit around 2. High blue bird sky all morning glass like w/out a ripple through noon,

Randy thanks for the tips! I know a couple of them will be super helpful.
I'll post the pic's shortly.
