    Barren, Nolin and Rough are actually well below summer pool and just barely above winter pool. The elevations you referenced are the lake levels at winter pool; to show the contrast: Barren's summer pool elevation is 552. Barren will rise 24 more feet before hitting summer pool. The Corps projection date for achieving summer pool elevation is April 15. However significant rain or drought can change those plans fast.

    I just noticed that after yesterdays rain Rough River Lake rose 5+ feet over night. Sometimes a relatively small amount of rain can change a lake big time.
