Pond fishing

Get out there fellas they are on fire right now. I've been catching fish all winter and some really nice ones on jigs. But yesterday afternoon they started chasing baits, lipless cranks, spinnerbaits ect. Caught 9 with 7 of them in the high 2's, nothing over 3lb, just a bunch of healthy chunks. Even the 2 smaller ones were decent keeper size fish.

I know its just a pond report but thought I would pass it along. They were even swirling the top and the shallows after small gills...

Already been myself too....actually I've already caught two over 4 lbs on a chatterbait! Water couldn't have been over 40 degrees!!!

Have a really small trolling motor only lake beside my house, and they've been on pretty good out there....I haven't had any time to get out there but a friend of mine has caught a 5, a 6, and a 7 out of there in the past week...Not taking a ton of bites but the ones that do are good ones...Water temp is 56-57 out there right now

I wish I had access to a pond nearby.
