I like what you said about the one year rule...the baseball one makes more sense. I don't blame Cal for recruiting the way he does....to each his own...I'm just glad that IU hasn't gone that route....and hope we don't (at least not to the extint UK has).

If you thnk for one second that Crean did not recruit Wall, Cousins, Knight, Orton, Bledsoe, Davis, MKG, Jones, Lamb, Teague and Wiltjer, them you are drinking way too much Hoosier Juice. These are exactly the kind of players that turn a program around. Kentucky went from the NIT one year to the Elite 8 the next. Don't confuse Crean not signing the one and doners with him not recruiting them. Crean and EVERY other Coach in the Country would have cut off his left arm to get 3 Number 1 recruiting classes in a row and have the success that Kentucky has the past 3 years. If there are Top Program Coaches NOT recruiting these types of players then that College has the wrong coach.

Yup!! It's all about winning in sports!!! I can't imagine any coach sitting back and looking for 4 year project players......not gonna happen. Everyone wants the best and if your not able to get the best you go for the second, third or fourth and down the line.
