Just a Quick Update for Today
Portions of Southern Indiana (mostly southeast but looks like about 10 or 15 miles short of Evansville) have now been elevated to "High Risk"
Here is a the Hazardous Weather Outlook Message from the Storm Prediction Center.
This isnt something to take lightly, If you plan on going out today, have an emergency plan ready, or just be done before noon.SEVERE STORMS WILL LIKELY DEVELOP ALONG AND IN ADVANCE OF THE COLD FRONT BY MIDDAY OR EARLY AFTERNOON...AT THE SAME TIME THE WINDS THROUGH ALL LEVELS OF THE ATMOSPHERE WILL BECOME VERY STRONG. THESE FACTORS WILL RESULT IN A FAVORABLE SETUP FOR FAST-MOVING TORNADIC STORMS CAPABLE OF PRODUCING LONG-TRACK/DAMAGING TORNADOES IN THE HIGH RISK AREA OF EXTREME SOUTHERN INDIANA...CENTRAL KENTUCKY...AND NORTHERN MIDDLE TENNESSEE THIS AFTERNOON.
