Reed Timmer and the Dominator are in southern Illinois...they are the guys on that Discovery Channel show Stormchasers.......

Check out this link for a map of several stormchasers, many with live streaming camera on their vehicles. I've been watching one guy near Evansville tracking some scary looking stuff....

Re: Tornado Outbreak expected on Friday 3/2

Huntsville, AL and a nearby community were hit with tornadoes early this morning. It ripped part of the roof off a max. security prison but no one was injured and there were no escapes.

We are 'under the gun' this afternoon and tonight and I hope it misses us. This county has been torn up several times by tornadoes since last April. I'll listen for the tornado sirens and keep my weather radio on. The weather is extremely warm today with temps in the low 80s already.

My husband is in another state and they have been under tornado warnings since Thursday morning. I haven't heard from him today and don't know how the weather is in his area. The weather map shows that they are being hammered with rain and high winds.

    Everyone please stay safe.

Henryville IN severely damaged - a school was hit, major damage with fatalities confirmed.

Why didn't they get out of school early like most other schools in the area did?!?!

Re: Tornado Outbreak expected on Friday 3/2

Tornadoes passed us in all directions. Mrs. Tyme went to pick up her elderly sister that lives in a mobile home before the storms arrived. My neighbors don't have basements, so the neighbor on my south side came over with his two golden retrievers, the neighbor to the north came over with 3 dogs and 4 children. My oldest son came over with his beagle and another sister of Mrs Tyme was here. We had a basement full but all are safe and the brunt of the storm just missed us.

The only damage is a large cedar limb that missed our kitchen window by inches.

I give thanks to the Lord for sparing us and pray for those that were affected by this massive storm outbreak

GLAD you guys are ok........when I saw the path and I saw the news giving a street by street call for the area, I knew you guys were in a direct path.

This area is going to feel the pain for quite sometime.
