You are not nearly as smart as I once thought you were....ANYTHING can happen in the dance. The two teams you mentioned are very solid all around...OSU beat Duke by like 30 this year....UM is better than anyone but UK in the SEC...so is MSU, IU, OSU and probably Wisconsin. Get it through your Blue faded mind that there are SEVERAL teams out there, not just from the Big 10, that can beat UK on any given night.....especially in the Big Dance. Now, could UK stroll through the tourney....maybe. But if you get Davis in foul trouble they come back to the talent level of a lot of teams in the tourney....thats part of what happened the game they did lose. I know what you're going to say next...we shot lights out...thats what we do....top three in the nation in 3 pt. shooting.

Did Davis get in foul trouble against IU, yes? Was that the main reason Kentucky lost, NO. I would love to see IU in the same bracket as Kentucky. IU fans have not been watching Kentucky the past 6 weeks since Terrence Jones has done the EXACT same thing he did last year. Jones has come to play the past 6 weeks unlike the 4 pt debacle headcase showing he had against IU. Davis has committed 60 fouls all season long. Less than 2 fouls per game on average. He is not the same player that IU saw 10 games into his Freshman season. 10 days away and let the Big Dance begin. I will take Kentucky and give the field. Just like you would probably take Indiana and give the field. EVERY bracket I have ever filled out has Kentucky winning the title. Whether I truly believed they could or would or not did/does not matter in me putting them as the National Title Champion. The difference this year is I believe they can and believe they will.

I will not take Indiana over the field...I don't think we are that good this year. Next year, that will be a different story with losing no starters and gaining the #2 recruiting class. Wow, take UK every year in the bracket....you have some serious Blue Vision!!!

I am a Kentucky Fan. Been so for as long as I can remember in my 44 years of living. Remember listening to Caywod calling the games on the radio helping my Dad and Grandfather strip tobacco or cut firewood or whatever. The only Coach that I Dislike is Rick Pitino. I have no problem with Louisville Basketball Team but don't like their Coach for reasons that I have stated here before. I watch as much Basketball as I can, no matter who is playing, because it is also my son's favorite sport. No matter who is playing we will watch and not root for any team specifically but will watch as fans of the sport. As far as Kentucky goes, I am no where near as fanatical about them as I used to be. I remember the game that Kentucky and Duke played when Rashad Carruth was a Freshman at Kentucky and scored 20 points but Duke won the game. I had a bunch of friends over to watch and go physically sick after they lost. My wife would hate it when Kentucky lost a game because I was pissed off for the next couple of days. Not that important to me today but I still Love my Cats.

I just find it extremely odd that out of 31 games including games against teams that tend to draw more fouls than Indiana such as North Carolina,Kansas, and Louisville, that the Kentucky @ Indiana game was the only game where Anthony Davis had 4 fouls and had to sit most of the game.

You do realize that the "teams" of referees travel around the country, and don't just ref for one conference right? The refs in that game likely did a game at Rupp, and more than a few in the SEC. So the whole Big 10 or IU bias from the refs is b.s. Zeller and co were smart and took it at Davis, got the calls, and he had to sit. Fouls are part of the game. Somebody said that Davis only had 60 fouls all year.....in your way of thinking that sounds like "home cooking" to me.

The refs for the game were Lead Official Ted Valentine, Mike Kitts and Tom Eades.

Valentine officiated 20 Big Ten Games to that point and 28 other games between 7 different conferences, average of 4 per conference. Last year he officiated 20 Big Ten Games and 36 others between 8 different conferences or 4.5 average per Conference.

Kitts officiated 21 Big Ten Games to that point and 24 other games between 6 conferences, average 4 per conference.

Tom Eades officiated 9 Big Ten and 17 SEC games out of 40 games to date of the IU / Kentucky game.

Not saying the officials were biased towards or against one team or the other. But when the lead official and one of his running mates are Big Ten officials, who knows.

If Valentine was the lead official UK surely had an advantage. Going back to the Knight days Valentine has a hatred for IU because of an incident at Assembly Hall. Knight went out on the floor to tend to an injured player (Luke Recker) and Valentine T'd him up for being on the floor, even though the trainer was already out there with him...then ejected Knight when he argued the T. Totally rediculous call and ejection, although Knight earned his fair share over the years. Valentine was actually banned from the Big 10 for a couple of years, and has since been allowed back. He has shown in every game since that he gives the other team the benefit of the doubt against us..... i.e the Wisconsin game this year....awful, absolutely awful...and we still shoulda/coulda won the game up there!

No way dude Danica Patrick all the way!

    Teddy Valentine does hate IU.

And Arkansas is a tough gym to play in.

Danica and Dale Jr., talk about OVER-RATED. One hasn't won a NASCAR race since they started driving on asphalt and the other never will win a NASCAR race.

Arkansas beat Michigan by double digits,Arkansas is 10th in the SEC

It's not the atmosphere at Big Ten venues so much as just a little too much homecooking by Big Ten Officiating.Yea,yea don't blame the refs, but I watch too many games with too many unevenly called games. If you have a fair whistle some of your teams including Indiana who can only win at home aren't so intimidating.

The NCAA Tourney is a whole different animal and anything can happen in a one and done tourney.UConn last year is a prime example.Just have to see what the matchups are,but I'll take my chances on UK.
