Was fishing on a favorite stream from the bank as the water was high and muddy. Went to a spot that had fresh runoff from the last rain. Warmer I would assume. Started throwing into the clearer water coming into the main stream. Probobly the first 7 casts with a smallie/beaver and 1/16 weight got bit. Had about 5 fish in that group. Biggest was a chunky 16" 2lb. female. One other fish was about 1lb and a half, rest were 10-12".
That bite slowed, switched to a Rebel Craw medium runner and caught about 6 more. About 8 keepers in the group, all released.
The bite is on, fish are on the feed if you can find a place to fish.
I of course cannot tell what stream I was fishing, LOL. All were largemouth. Hope this gets you out and fired up!
You are too sharp for me!
