Tell you all what else really burns my britches...standing in line at the gocery and being behind someone using their little food stamp card while talking on a cell phone....once again, if you're on food stamps how can you afford a cell phone?

When applying for food stamps if there's a question anywhere on the application that asks for a phone number the person can be reached at and they give a cell phone number in response, that should be an automatic clue to turn the applicant down in my opinion. I don't know, maybe I'm being to critical.

Although I'm not an advocate of doing away with assistance programs, we do a miserable job of policing these programs... Along with lottery tickets and cell phones I would add cigarettes and alcohol to the list and I'm sure there are many other things that folks want but don't need that these folks seem to have routinely... I know of a couple motorcycle riders who get food stamps...If you can afford a motorcycle...............
