Rough River?

Going this weekend. Anyone been recently? Looking for some bass and crappie. Anyone seen/heard of some coming out yet? Also, should i taky my A-rig or leave it at home?

I was over there about 20 min ago. Drove over to the state park, dam, axtel, and north fork...state park and dam was very muddy. They looked to pulling water pretty good too. North fork area seemed a little clearer maybe. I was not in a boat, just driving around in the truck.

I will be around the axtel area. The rain might make it a bit more difficult but its not supposed to rain the rest of the weekend. Hopefully the water clears up a bit. Just looking to have some fun with my dad on spring break.

I'm going to be anywhere from long lick to north fork

Dont be scared of the rain or a little mud. The water is in the fifties all over north fork. Caught close to thirty today with 10 over. Fished for about 8hrs.
