    Here we go again !

wheather has been above average which means water temps will rise faster and fish will start spring patterns early..........BUT......... if we start getting all this rain it will mess everything up again this spring. i hope rain amounts stay around normal this year ! i am gearing up for spring fishing and will be very dissapointed if we another spring like the last one !

Another Spring like last year....hope there is no flooding but I went when alot of people weren't (tourney cancelled and all) and had an absolute blast catchin 'em in the high water. Some days after loading from the road (ramps under water) I would only see 2-3 boats and we caught ALOT of fish and good ones too!

Re: Here we go again !

Last spring we launched from a steep road dropping off into parking lot and most of the time there wasnt but one or two other tow vehicles present. Was hardly any boats out on the lake and seemed like we had the entire lake to ourselves. We did real good on jitterbugs, zara spooks, lucky 13's and rapala floaters and limited out every day we fished. Had a deep freeze full of fish by the time the lake had been dropped down enough to launch off the boat ramps.

I would have went more, but after seeing what was actually submerged and could be navigational hazards, I opted to play it safe. A lot of stuff was under the water that could have damaged or disabled my boat. I did check out Nolin when it crested though. It was wicked.

Re: Here we go again !

When all the flooding started in April we were on Dale Hollow. The water rose so much overnight they were adding sections to the walkway at Hendricks Creek so you could get to the boat slips and two trucks that were left in the trailer parking area got flooded out. We still caught fish, but it was less than ideal to say the least.

I looked at the extended forecast and they are predicting temps up near 80 next week.
