Re: what would happen if ?

Its not just sewage, its many things not exactly friendly to man or environment.
The problem is easier to pay the fine than make changes, fines need to be heavier than what courts or even epa can levy.
Ohio river barge companies have often flouted the laws, with disposal of chemicals etc.
Cities pay fines as cheaper than redoing sewage plants, high water tp issue, etc.
We live in the now not yesteryear.Crap that was designed for 1930 wont cut it.
Sewage plants made for 30,000 now support a much larger population.
Im glad im in the country now days.

"The company declined to comment on camera, but someone with the business said over the phone that he knows he made a mistake."

Yeah, right, a "mistake." Oops! I hate it when people who get caught red-handed like that say, "I made a mistake." It was no mistake, it was a calculated decision to flout the law. He needs to get locked up, and the company fined, big time.

And he had been dumping more of it BEHIND HIS HOUSE??!! Gross!! I guess he wasn't into grilling out in his back yard much!
