Sniper is a little stiffer than Shooter. I use the Sniper for heavier line apps and Shooter for lighter line apps and on spinning gear. Hope that helps.

P-line 100% or halo both are good lines no proublems out of either. Vanish is crap don't use it have had nothing but bad luck with it. Stren is alright a little more stiff then I like. Berkley 100% is pretty good to but I like p-line over all.

Best value is the Seaguar Red Label.

Skip the BPS XPS, quality isn't quite there.

Worst I've ever used was Stren...more memory than any of them!

I have used most of the more economical brands and I like the new vicious pro elite over them all so far. Only have about 3 months time used so far but it has held up well in the grass and seems to have better handling than the p-line which is my second favorite. I can't speak for the seaguar, tatsu or the higher priced brands because I won't be buying them.

Check out the Seaguar Red Label....price is comparable to Vicious, actually less depending on where you shop.

Seaguar Red Label gets my vote! Feels great as well a very good price. I will withhold final judgement for another month or two, but right now its the best for its price I've found.

    Berkley 100% Flourocarbon.

Rebates for $5.00; limit two per address. This is expensive line; but the rebate helps. I been buying it the past two years with the rebate. They send the rebate check and usually throw in a D***S coupon.

I got the Rebates at the Trilene site; so I guess you can use them anywhere.

Whoever said they did not like Vanish; I am right there with you. Don't let a bad experience with Vanish stop you from buying Trilene Flouro 100% (in the Gold Box).
