    Best knot for braid

I got some tuff line coming and have no clue as to what kind of knot to tie. I use the good ole trilene knot for mono, will that work?

    I agree.

My son and I use the palomar knot for muskie fishing and it works great for braided line.

I use the same knot I've used for everything for 30+ years..uni-knot. Not had it slip yet.

Palomar! I've been using it for years on everything: Flouro, Mono, & Braid. The only thing I don't use it for is line to line knots.

I now use the Porter Knot for everything, thanks to adriancretired, fishin.com member. Although it's difficult to learn, this knot will never break if cinched right.

Palomar knot for me for everything. Super strong. With a little practice can tie it in the dark with ease.

Were you possibly inspired by Fishing University? If so, I also ordered my free line after watching the show lol.

I really like the braided line, but I used mono today and caught a few nice hybrids. The stretch in the mono really felt good during the fight. I've kinda missed that stretch feel while using braided line.
