I wonder where UL ranked on this list before the YUM Center and its luxury box revenue.

They have been the most profitable basketball team for a season, prior to moving into the Yum Center. I believe they were number 1 in profits the last year in Freedom Hall. They are always in the top 3 or so in profit. They have been in the top among attendance leaders prior to moving into the Yum Center as well. The luxury suites are important no doubt, that is why UK wants to build a new arena or revamp Rupp Arena, but the Yum Center is not the only reason the program is profitable.
