Taking the boys fishing sat should we go to rough or green can't decide... All I know is I'm not going to taylorsville....lol
The fish are biting pretty well at Green but the Green River Bass Club is having a pretty good sized tournament out of Ramp 1 saturday morning...Not sure what you'll be fishing for but the bass are on pretty good and I saw some guys wearing the crappie out...good luck wherever you go
Caught some good ones at Rough this weekend, but it was very muddy.
We will be bass fishing......
Just got back from Rough this weekend. The bass were biting but I couldnt get any size out of them. Crappie were tearing it up. Got a few hybrids out of the tail water until they raised the water level. Crappie were jumping on our hooks down there if you dont have any luck with the hybrids at the tail water.
Going to Green tomorrow. I will post my results.
Save a few of those tips for me Patrick....I'll be out there after work and will probably give ya a call on the way down there
Im aware of another tournament on Green saturday running out of State dock. But the grandson and I are going this weekend (depending on state basketball tourney) whether its saturday or sunday. Most likely going to Nolin, next weekend is the first Next Generation tourney at Nolin.
Good fishing!
Fished from daylight to about 5pm. Water color varied from one end to the other. All of the lake was very fishable. I caught about 20 or so today with the best 5 going around 18 lbs. Caught 2 over 5 lbs. One on a crankbait in about 7 foot of water and one on a spinnerbait on a bluff. Caught fish on a jig as well. All my fish were scattered out and no real pattern. Caught some very shallow but they were smaller. All in all it was a nice day to be on the water.
