with the warm weather so far i go to nolin for a week the last of april, i just found out i have cancer and have surgery that week. i would be ever so greatful if you gentleman could post updates on water temp and the bite hope to go any time before that week i live 4 hrs away and i love that place the people and sounderings are so peaceful. mike

As of today, 3-14-12, i've had 2 "buddies" report the following.
1 went about a week ago, fished between the dam and m-dier. Caught 10-12, the biggest one hit a jerk bait. (about 3 lbs), the rest came off a tube.
The other caught about the same, 10 days ago, same method. Water has good color from m-dier down, it's a little muddier the more you go up.

i found out i have prostate 3 tumors and kidney cancer, and cancer in my bones.eat up with drd from m,y neck to feet. i am 45yrs old and fishing is my passion, the tornado even tore my ranger up,the hits just keepon comming.the dr told my to be strong, strong no mad yea gonna beat this thing, thank you all.

It sounds like you are going through a period like Job (from the Bible). Hang in there.

I survive cancer in 2002 and 2003 (Colon Cancer and Leukemia). I am 54 now; so I was about your age when that was happening. I recovered; praise God.
