All I have read about this confirms need to backfill with mono. I did not know that it help with castability. I just finished putting new line on this past weekend and did the back filling as suggested.Originally Posted by HawgHunter75

I do think I will try the Power Pro Super Slick 8. One negative I read about it was that the dimensions of the line are sometimes inconsistent.
