Fishing:
Went to cedar creek today for a few hours and started out throwing a jerk bait in shallow banks with grass, caught a fish on my very first cast, i hadnt even turned the handle once on my reel when he hit, i picked up a few more on the jerk bait all around a pound nothing big, threw rattle traps, cranks and plastics as well with nothing hitting on them, probably do to my time on the water.
Water Conditions:
To my surprise the water was well into the high 60's even reaching into the low 70's in the creeks. The water is clearing up slowly but still has a merky tint to it.
Spring fishing is upon us and man am i happy!

Na i didnt have my dog, i was in a bass tracker 17 foot, black and tan, We've probably run into eachother before though haha as many people as there are on the lake.
I hear ya Bro, I thought half the state of Kentucky was flaoting on that lake...
Seriously that lake can't take that kind of pressure for years. It will end up being a piece of crap to fish if that type of dogging continues, just my two cents..
Seems this is what happens when they try to create a trophy lake and its small! I wish they would put this much effort into some existing lakes to try and improve the fishing. I like cedar creek but it does seem to always be full of people. It may get a little better when the crappie guys quit going.
Yea man i agree, every 3 seconds theres a boat ripping past you only like 5 feet away going 100+mph. Its awful, if you want to catch any fish there you have to be on the water like before daylight.
I plan on going Easter Sunday! Hopefully most people will be at church!
