    You can get the flow and depth here --- http://waterdata.usgs.gov/ky/nwis/current/?type=flow ---- this site has all the streams/rivers in the state --- Elkhorn is listed under Frankfort county --- it takes a little practice/experience to understand the "upper limits" of what is both safe and worth going from a fishing perspective.
