    It would also double the voltage, 12 volt batteries usually do not respond well to 24 volts of charge. If you wired the 2 bank charger is a series circuit it would work but if you have a 24 volt system your batteries will have an uneven charge which will decrease the life of both batteries by a significate amount. ^^^^^ that.
