Barren Update?

What is Barren fishing like right now? I hear that the bass are being caught on flats on spinnerbaits, lipless crankbaits and such. Has anybody fished down there lately? And how high is the water? How far up the creeks does the water run now?

Fished there last Sat (24th) with a small club (10 boats). Awefull!!

Winter pool levels. Fish were VERY scarce. I got skunked and most in the club did also. Most everyone we saw stated they had nothing all day. The weather front that moved in Friday played a big factor I think.

Also did not help that my wife put a banana in the cooler that I did not find until late in the day! I have blamed the bad day on her for the banana jinx...as Barren is one of the best lakes in the state in my opinion.
