I am fishing there this weekend and was looking for some advice I have never been there any help would be great .
5 bucks to launch.
You can go down about half a mile before you hit the dam.
You can go up for a couple miles before you hit the fork in the creek.
If you go right at the fork (Strodes Creek), there is about another mile of fishing.
If you go left at the fork, and stay in Stoner, you can go a few more miles.
Do yourself a favor, and don't run your big motor in either fork, lots and lots of logs out there just waiting on a lower unit to come by too fast.
I was out there this past weekend and we had pretty good luck on small jigs and cranks.
Good luck to you, and let us know how you do.![]()

The creek comes up and gets muddy fairly easy... Depending on how much rain we get out of this system coming through tomorrow it could be up or even a bit muddy... If this link works you can see if it has risin much or not... they record the water level daily at 7 am and post it usually before lunch on the site... it has been at 14 feet or so for a while so you might want to check the night before you go.
