Lev 11:9 These shall ye eat of all that are in the waters: whatsoever hath fins and scales in the waters, in the seas, and in the rivers, them shall ye eat.

I cry a little bit when I clean 'em. But man, they sure do taste good!
I will keep a few creek smallies for the table. Bass are pretty good. Keeping bass won't hurt the population. Anyone who has a small pond will know this: The fewer bass (say for one year) the more bluegill the next. The more bluegill, the higher the bass survival rate that year and average size.
Keep a few. It will help the baitfish population, which in turn, helps the game fish population. That is why a lake full of dinks (like three springs lake in BG) will stay a lake full of dinks unless the population is thinned out.
Ya know when ya figure all the costs assoicated with gas for the boat and truck, all the maintenance, insurance and taxes, Krogers still ranks as a cheaper source of fish.
I wonder if they'd get bent out of shape if I ramped in at the seafood counter and bottom fished the frozen fish section.
bob , kroger is bank fishing only (you have to go to the "bank" to buy fish there)

What about the guys who fish tournaments and gut the first fish they catch so they can study its stomach contents. Im not saying i agree with it but i know several tournament fishermen who said this is the easiest way to match bait sizes to what the fish are feeding on.
