Judging from the Twitter feeds I've seen from college kids I know: yes they do, and they are bragging about how they are going to do the same tonight despite the Po-Po.

Man if they do I hope they really get these kids by the short hairs and pull them one by one. Sure would be nice to see Lexington cleaned up by college kids doing community service foe a few weeks during the Summer.

This is nothing new at all. Exact same thing happened in 96-98. I was there for those years and experienced it firsthand - and what I am seeing now is no different at all. You see the same things at any other major university every year - it just never goes much beyond local/state coverage is why we never here about it.

I'm hearing of a shooting last night downtown and a UL fan was involved? It was the last end of a tv segment so I'm not sure of the details. I'll have to look this up! Anyone else see or hear of this?
So with all the warnings and requests not to get stupid the crowds did anyway. Geez I guess young and dumb and full of Booze can't be reasoned with. Oh well.....it's over now. Time to pay the piper!

UofL, UofK, Kansas, where ever...when masses of idiots get together in numbers like that, they feel invincable for some reason. Makes no sense at all to me why anyone wants to be around that many people at one time anyway.

I think it was WKYT and they said a UL fan was shot in a car but who knows. I haven't had a chance to get on my puter at work to search for an article yet.

Reading the news today, it seems fans set fire to the UK library and it was total destruction. Both books were lost and one of them hadn't even been colored in yet!
