Crappie in the Ky river

Went to the river today with a bucket of minnows to try my luck at crappie fishin. Only had about 3 hours and really didnt know where to try, but got lucky. Only caught 10, 4 of which were little and threw back but the 6 i kept were 11-13 inches, and all a pound to a pound n a quarter. Biggest crappie out of the river i had ever caught or seen, cant wait to get a full day at trying to catch some more.
