I was down today and Crappie Fished. Water temp was around 75d by afternoon. Crappie was good and did not bass fish. Bass fishing has been really tough the last week or so. Last weeks tournament results showed the same. Some fish are pre spawn, some are spawning and there is probably some post spawn fish. If I was to go bass fishing I would fish any lead in banks and ends of bluffs with jigs and lizards.

Skaggs creek is easier to navigate with the lower water. If you stay near the bluffs you will be fine.

Be very carefull entering peters creek. You can damage your boat on the road bed at the mouth. I would suggest GPS if you dont have it. The water is up just enough now that alot of the small humps and piles are just right under water.

Use common sense and you will be fine. Also be carefull of the floating debris. It is pretty bad first thing in the morning.
