Anyone been to Rough?

I would like to take the Hobie out Thursday, and I was thinking about going to Rough. I'll be bass fishing, but I don't really know what the bass are doing there right now. Are they up shallow? Where would be a good place to launch with a kayak where I would have a good chance of catching some bass? What baits are they hitting right now?

If anyone could help, I would appreciate it. I don't want to make the drive if the fishing won't be decent.

Caught quite a few fish in 5-10ft of water around brush piles. Also had pretty good luck on secondary points.
