Rebel wee craw and strike king Bitsy tubes (green pumpkin for clear or stained water, black and blue for muddy water) are two of my most successful lures in any creek I've fished. Rebel Crickhopper is also another favorite.

Oldie but goodie is rooster tail inline spinner or beetle spins. 3" grubs another.
The farther u get away from the access point, the better.

I have caught tons of smallmouth on the 4 and 5" senko in lots of different streams when the water is clear to light stained. Also been catching some nice ones on the flappin hog by Gary Yamamoto this year. If the water has some color its hard to beat the Big O, or a white spinnerbait. Don't forget Big Hammer swimbaits.
