My understanding of the permits are, "use permits." I launch at Longbow Marina and according to the people at the marina and others, if you just park to use the portajohns or to take a walk or fish and the rangers or whoever patrols for that come thru and you are not displaying a use permit, you will receive a citation. There are signs at each area stating the rules. I don't think Bangor is a permit area. Our tax dollars paid for the ramps and areas in the first place, now I have to pay again.
